This is a picture of a little Island called Tommy island. The people live on the island with a bunch of dogs and if you paddle
to close to the island they come out and bark up a storm (the dogs that is). The map shows the approximate position (the red plus sign) I was in my kayak when I took the picture. The distance to the island is about .25 miles. The "Map" it self is a TopoZone map not a chart, for all of you mariners. The Coordinates are 44° 01' 20"N, 69° 06' 41"W (WGS84/NAD83)
USGS Rockland Quad. The Lobster buoy campground is adjacent to the word "mud" on the map but it's actually not that
muddy. Miss Mabel, the owner of the campground, refers to Eben island as Ebb's island. So as far as I'm concerned the map is wrong.
